Transformational
Leadership Mentoring
|
The
Ahimsa Group provides customized, one-on-one mentoring for those in positions of
leadership and those who are being groomed for leadership responsibilities.
This work focuses on both aspects of leadership – the “Doing”
aspect (skills and abilities) and the “Being” aspect (perspective, view
point, state of mind), and is tailored to address the challenges and
opportunities of the individual’s current situation.
The leadership mentoring
offered by The Ahimsa Group is designed to assist leaders to access and
implement their own inherent wisdom, to learn the effective application of
creativity to leadership responsibilities, and to move beyond perceived
individual and organizational limitations and into a level of success that
exceeds expectations.
In the course of this mentoring the leader explores several
areas within him/herself including:
·
Existing values and how they do or do not support the desired
results
·
Limiting beliefs
·
Existing self-concept and whether that self-concept may
hinder success
·
Impact of past experiences
·
Current level of confidence and its effect on leadership
efforts
·
Skills required to achieve success as a leader
·
Which of the above are currently in place and which need to
be developed or refined
·
Four essential leadership capabilities
·
Results-focused communication
·
Rapport and its place in leadership
·
Concerns and expectations held by the individual – useful
or unrealistic?
Each of the above is thoroughly evaluated, potential
obstacles transformed, areas requiring further development identified, and
intensive mentoring conducted to ensure that the qualities, characteristics,
perspective, and skills necessary to ensure leadership success are in place.
All mentoring is applied directly to existing leadership and
organizational challenges, progress is carefully monitored, and all tools and
processes presented are implemented to facilitate the leader’s desired
outcome. All work is respectful and
confidential.
Transformational Leadership Mentoring is conducted one-on-one
and can be scheduled according to the needs of the individual and the
organization.
